The difficulties of living in the mid-west and being a contemporary artist are many, but so are the rewards.  This cross-country exhibit was intended to both address these challenges and rejoice in the merits of making art in the heartland. The exhibition traveled cross-country with many stops in cities including New Orleans, Houston, Las Vegas, and San Francisco.  The show was displayed on one large transportable gallery wall, surveying the country as an outdoor traveling exhibit. The goal of this show was to engage people from across the country in the art of the Heartland, and to create discourse and art experiences in unexpected places.
